I realized once you start getting into more unique cars, the scams become much more elaborate.
People setting up fake dealerships with real addresses, ads, the whole 9 yards. When I was buying a CTS-V I would see one for sale on ebay from the real dealership, then would see the same pics used for the same car 1000+ miles away claiming the car is in their inventory and ready to be picked up. I would go as far as calling the fake dealerships and they would played along, "Yes, you can fly in, we will pick you up from airport, and take you to the dealership", where their business was tied to an empty lot in the middle of no where...
Heck, my car after owning it for over a year now still pops up for sale.

What do you guys think the market price of that 996TT in Austin is? With close to 90k miles, isn't $31k pretty close to what it's worth? I don't follow the market as closely as some folks here so I wanted to get some insights. Thanks

A 996TT for $31K, even with 90K, is too cheap. Something would have to be wrong unless I fell asleep and it's now 2025...

Not sure what the deal is with that ad. It's been up for months and I've tried to contact the seller a few times (at least to ask what "ferrari" tires are) and have never gotten a response.
