Not a 996, and the dealership owner is not someone I would jump to do business with, but check this out...

yeah there's a few 997's that have fallen into the 996 pricing category. Honestly, as much as I love the 996TT, if I found a 997TT that was in similar condition and +/- within 2 or 3 grand of the cars I'm looking at, I'd have to seriously consider the 997. Infact, I'd prefer it over the 996TT all things being equal.

I attempted to make an out-of-state purchase from this dealer. Once we had a signed agreement, they produced a window sticker with a VIN that did not match the Title. When pressed for accurate information, they refused to provide it, nor would they let me fly out and verify the equipment on the car without first wiring funds. Buyer beware.
Too good to be true

That is almost too good to be true. The 997 Turbo is the sweet spot right now. No way it should be priced like a 996TT though.

That 997 turbo is probably 1.5 -2 hour drive from where I live (Kansas City) in the middle of nowhere pancake flat KS.
I was thinking about going out there and maybe picking it up, however then I saw the picture of the dealership.................................. (flat out scam)

The other angle is even better; almost looks as if they've got a green neon up in the grass sitting on blocks while the green Grand AM covered in bird **** is showcasing their best inventory.
Looks like they are hiding behind a private registration for their site as well.
