I believe cjv was fairly happy with the end result although the NOS experiement wasn't exactly a sucess. He showed up at concorso with his car, if that's any indication.

I think CJV would appreciate it most if we didn't start speculating as to what happened. Let's just leave it at the fact that he left. Simple as that.

Take care CJV.

Apparently CJV was offered a moderator position on another board that has been attempting to "poach" rennlist members, moderators and sponsors. Great business ethics on their part.

He's not the only one who has been solicited.

Is his duty as a moderator at 6speed online related to the fact he deleted all of his posts here?

I have no idea if they "made" him delete the posts. I just know for a fact that they have aggresively gone after rennlist sponsors and moderators. I guess now they have even gone after some members.

Ask the owners of 6speed how much they were willing to pay for CFG's board and tell me that it is just a "web board" in reality it is a business, maybe not a multimillion dollar one but it is a business none the less.

Just about all of them. Do a search using his user name. I have no idea why he did it.

Is 6speedonline really "The World's Largest Performance Car Message Board"? I can see them going after sponsers, but they don't even charge for membership...or yet at least.

Nothing is wrong with charging for membership. I think rennlist is a great site, so what's a few dollars every year for all the great advice.

Don't know him, do not know his situations, but, deleting all his posts, come on. Sounds like a big pus** to me.

Hmmm - "Worlds Largest Performance Car" message board has 561 members and 6,985 posts.

Rennlist has 705,000+ posts

Corvette Forum has 51,000+ users and 6.9m+ posts (to pick a bigger car club at random).

Does that make sense to anyone else.....?

Hi Chad,

Not a flame, certainly - as I've appreciated your input and support of these Forums for quite some time - and that includes reconciling some transactions, and off line quips about getting a ride in your car, buying each other a beer or two

However - what you wrote to me was "... I will no longer participate in the forums... My reply was simple and straightforward to that comment - ..you can choose to participate in the Forums or not.. Certainly, I meant no disrespect, then - nor now...

However - to this day, and as I indicated in my private e-mail, I still don't know what the reason is/was..???

Anyway - so be it.. I still want that ride and the beers we chatted about..!!!

Best to you, Chad..!
