I will be very fair with my pricing and I'm sure I will be pleased with sale. While I agree some prices are out of whack they are going up and my car and other good examples will be worth a bit of change if kept nice in 5-10 years. Honestly all we can do is wait, but I can say I have a good track record with past purchases I just didn't hold onto them long enough lol. Wanted to add that the 2002 with 12k miles will bring 49-50k if it has a few good options. Being an owner yourself for gods sake start being positive= at least a little lol.

Hard to believe that sweet NA 3.8 makes 15 more hp than a 996TT, and only 20 less than our X50s. Of course, the missing 150tq is definitely something you can feel!

Thanks for the kind words. Yeah, I'm stoked about the GTS. Had to stop by the dealer today because I was on that road and only had to go about 3 miles out of my way. Just stopped in to look at GTSs again. So tempting to just fold and take one of the beauties they have on the lot. But then I remember what GT Silver/Black&Garnet Red looks like, and my resolve returns.

i dont know exactly why it bothers me so to see hans mezgers name misspelled as "metzger". but it does. particularly in articles.
i have a 996 turbo that will never increase in value, no matter what i do to it because i DRIVE IT lol

It will become more difficult over the years to find 996 Turbos that haven't either beat to death at the track, or exposed to MacGyver/hardware store modifications/repairs.

These cars are not going to get cheaper. Better buy now before the hockey stick.

That would be like spelling Mozart's name "Motzart". Maybe it's meant to help English-speakers pronounce it correctly, but it is a common mistake.

Yours may not increase in price as much as a stock garage queen, but if the 996T values continue their upward trend, I'd imagine your car would also become more valuable as well, no?

you could well be right, though I suspect sloppy journalism. it's different if an enthusiast makes the mistake in spelling. at least for me anyway..
