Finally finished the interior off with the Meguiars, long story about why it's taken me so long (ending with me selling the 928 today), and I have to say I don't like the smell. Anyone else use it? It's taken away my nice leather smell and it's now a sickly sweet smell, and not a nice one. Left streaks all over the dash too? I phoned the garage that I bought the car off 6 months ago, as they detailed it before I picked it up, and the guy says they only used soapy water with no treatment.

If the smell bothers you,I guess it's Porsche leather approved products for you...
Or there should be other good products for this... Others? Opinions?

The dash and other leather parts (door panels) are specially treated from the factory (not the seats). The leather actually goes through a process to remove moisture so it will not "move". This is great as long as you don't moisturize the leather (which is what most leather products do). Use the Aero 303 as it is a sunscreen not a moisturizer.
"All leather is not the same. We work with classic upholstery leather, but we also work with low-shrinkage leather. The instrument paneling, for example, can get extremely hot in summer. If the material starting tightening, what would that look like after a while? So we're talking about leather whose residual moisture has been largly removed, which means that it won't be able to shrink later." (Christophorus, No. 276 January 1999)
