What did you do to your 996TT today?

IIRC Porsche recommends a 10-12k OCI with Mobil 0W-40 for our cars. I believe the consensus here from guys who own their own ride is to never follow that advice. Porsche is in the business of selling new cars. The money they rec'd from my car was earned eight years ago and under a very different management structure. They dont give a rats *** about my car right now - they just want me to buy a new one.

I personally fall in the "every 2 years" low mileage category.
Of course Porsche doesn't set a minimum mileage prior to oil changes, so an owner could change it every 1000 miles (or less) if he wanted to.
I didn't find any reference for changing the coolant in the Porsche maintenance schedule.

Speechless.
Debating on which exhaust to install. Leaning towards Europipe stage 1. I'm not too concerned about exhaust tone. I'm more interested in reducing back pressure and allowing the turbos to spool up sooner. And I want to hear the damn turbos spooling!

I am very happy with the Europipe stage 2 quite on my UMW stage 2 set up. I believe it spools faster and stonger. It does sound great. You will not notice the dramatic improvement as you did with the tune and stage 2 or 2a turbos. But the pipes are definately icing on the cake! I am glad I did it. I put about 200 miles on the pipes this week. No regrets. My neigbor and friend noticed the sound difference. But he cant complain, as he rides a piped Harley.

To fit in with the thread, I've been putting some stickers on mine ready for my trip to the Monaco F1 in 2 weeks time.

Got this one on the back bumper so far. As it is a bit of a Gumball rally, there are about 10 of us going, it was re-named with the Scottish accent to Gumbaw. Again, saying MyHouse with the accent comes out as MaHoose. So we leave in 2 weeks time and drive down through the Alps, taking in the Porsche museum and factory along the way.

Did a little drive, nothing major. Last weekend did a good, solid drive with some buddies. One of the topped at 198 mph (996 GT2). I chickened out at around 165 (too windy for my taste). Good times.
