Yes exactly - I was thinking about this (and Recaros to go with it...):

https://www.bbiautosport.com/product...and-slider-kit

And I thought it may be good, for me, to lower the leading edge of the seat (front), level it a little by bringing the rear mounts up, which I think would make for a more comfortable driving position. I would still have no problem reaching the wheel.

Hand or hands?

I personally don't have any problem removing my left hand from the steering wheel to operate the turn signal (etc.), or my right hand to shift gears (etc.)

Sorry, meant 'hand' - imagine the chaos that would ensue removing both 'hands'...

I like being able to just extend my index finger so I don't have to remove a hand. In fact, I always try to drive with both hands on the wheel as much as possible.

I have no problem driving with one hand on the steering wheel. I do it quite often; probably more than I do with both hands on the steering wheel.

Really? I am super concerned that a Red 'L' of death, attached to some 16 year olds Lambo, BMW or Merc will come flying out of some side street, or blow a light, causing me to have to react very quickly, requiring a 2 handed input to get out of the way. I am not really concerned about my own abilities, I just do not trust anyone else on Vancouver roads - it is super spooky here with how bad drivers are, and it gets even worse when you add rain and/or snow.

Yes, really.

I can move the steering wheel quickly with one hand.

I think the only time I drive with one hand is when I'm trucking and on the highway, and even then, if a potential nastiness comes into my field of view, both hands go back on the wheel.

Maybe the one handed driving style isn't too bad then.

Besides, how would I eat my burger when driving my truck if I didn't drive with one hand?

I saw this photo before - I thought you were wearing a GoPro, but now I see you were successfully driving with no hands. Bravo!

I may have been driving with my left hand at the 8 o'clock position or lower, or I might have been driving with my knee. I don't remember.

No. Shooting with a Nikon d7000 in my right hand.
