Default E85 time

Put in some alternative fuel for the first time. e85 = the yellow pump. "Runs on Corn" now

Don't you need to convert the car for E85 use?

Ethanol corrodes a number of engine materials.

Upgraded injectors and fuel dual pumps to support. Tuned to run on e85 or 93 octane. E85 has similar advantages to running race gas while being cheaper and easier to find.

What did the upgrades cost?

Are you concerned about the rubber parts?

About $3500 (Pumps, fittings, injectors, content gauge, and tune). As for rubber parts, I'm not concerned at this point. But I'll be keeping an eye on things.

That is super impressive! Do I understand correctly that you also have a 4.0l?

Sounds phenomenal!!!

I used to run a toluene/OCT94 mixed at 4:1 (as I recall); made a very noticeable difference, but if not run through the car quickly would readily eat rubber lines. I'd have to dig up the proper conversion numbers, but I believe it ended up being about 110OCT.

You guys get all the good stuff... I cannot think of anywhere in Canada where we would even see E85.

Removed Android Car Play from my phone and stayed with the Pioneer GUI instead, seems to work way better.
