Do you have more pics of the interior. Specifically of the center console? I also have the aluminum look package (or whatever it is called) but I'd like to ditch the aging soft touch paint on the center console. I was worried that a silver painted center console with the aluminum trim ring on the shift boot and the aluminum accents on the handbrake and shift **** would be too much. Seems like you have that setup so I'd love to get a better look.
And also... congrats. That's a hell of a lot of miles and smiles.

Congrats Tom!
It goes to show that it’s not just the car, but also the owner, and therefore, the combination of the two (and a bit of luck) that allows for this sort of thing to happen.
After all, I read in another thread that you also tracked this car, you know how to drive a stick properly (original clutch lasted a very long time), and you changed your oil every 5,000 miles.
I believe there’s an art and a science to driving a 911 the right way, and you seem to have both mastered!

@T2 since you're in New England..does it have any rust?
I'd imagine the turbo/exhaust components would be pretty corroded after all that time/miles in New England unless you constantly wash off the underbody?
Is it on the stock tune still? What modifications, if any, does it have?

It was 300 or 350 + cost of shipping to them to repair a **** like the one T2 has with deep cracking in it. Not sure about ability to repair painted stuff. They sent me a pic yesterday and I got a shipping notification that it is headed back to me. I'll start a thread on it when I get it back so as not to hijack this one.
