Nitto Specs:
235/40/18 25.39"
245/40/18 25.55"
315/30/18 25.35"
Factory sizing is
Front 25.4"
Rear 25"
I will have to take another look at the manual to see what the requirements are on the AWD system but I can't imagine the 245/315 setup is going to affect it at all.

I got rubbing at full lock with the Nitto when I ran it on the GT3. The only time I was at full lock was getting in and out of my spot in the paddock so it was a non issue for me.

I am about to pull the trigger on NT-01 245/40-18 and the 315/30-18 for my 996 C4S. In stock suspension do you think these will cause any problems what so ever even at full lock with a C4S? I will be using these on streets as well, and would'nt want to make the turning circle much wider.
Thanks

There is no detrimental effect of it rubbing at full lock. It just rubs the fender liner a bit. If you don't like that then you will have a larger turning radius.

I picked up a set of hollows and had them painted black to give the car an alterego when I'm feeling facetious and need to outfit them with rubber.
I have put a list together of tires I can run on street and the occasional DE.
Any thoughts on my list?
Additions/Suggestions?
LIST:
Nitto NT01
Toyo R888
Michelin PS2
Michelin Pilot Sport Cup
Yoko Advan AD08

You've gotta put air in these tires to get them to perform; also, break 'em in hard. Starting with 32 front and 40 rear (summer), after 20 minutes on the track they're at 40 and 48, with no heat damage. I've had them to 150 mph, and to 110 in the rain. Traction is excellent, they don't roll over, and the damn things are cheap!

I think I am going to go with the NT01's.
I got 40+ HC's with them on my GT3 driving pretty darn hard so these should fit the bill just nicely. I'll report back after the May DE.

I went with the Nitto NT-01. Used it this wknd. for the first time at M-O. In my C4S with stock suspension the 245 in the front and the 315 at the rear worked very well and no rubbing at full lock either. Is pretty decent in mild wetness too. For around $1k for a full set, highly recommended.

I need some new track tires and will be trying the NT-01's. My last set were Toyo 888's, noisy, otherwise I have no complaints. I have 37 HC on the front and think there are a few more left. Pretty good for a heavy car like mine.
What cold tire pressure do you recommend for the NT-01's? Hot temperature to shoot for?
