In case you haven't heard, Sprint Booster will rid your throttle travel of the annoying delay that is present from the factory in drive-by-wire cars like the post-2000 996 Turbo. Installation is a breeze, and you'd be hard-pressed to find a more noticable improvement to your Porsche's throttle response and drivability for the money.
Here are a couple of threads from the 996 section by some very satisfied customers of ours:

Glad to hear it! Sprint Booster's part number for the 996 is SBPO0021, but it looks like SPR2124 matches up. It will work fine with a flashed ECU, and your throttle response will be even quicker. If you'll PM me your address in Singapore I can get a quote for you.

Generally speaking, no, but we can't guarantee how your particular dealer will react to its presence. That said, it's so well hidden on the 996 that it's highly unlikely that it would get noticed, unless you were having work done in the footwell anyway. As with any modification, unless it's directly causing a problem there's no reason for it to affect the warranty. We've sold quite a few of these things and had no issues whatsoever.
