Default F/S FVD stage flash for 996TT

I have FVD stage 4 (575) flashed chip . It ran awesome in my car w/ ki6 /24 hybrids. Great power and smooth ,no CELs The only reason It is available is because i went to a custom tune aT EPL in Connecticut.
They can install it in you car or as an alternative you can send them your ECU . quick turnaround
Tony said 1 or 2 hours charge. to do it. You can dyno your car there as well. Great shop.

$425

I highly doubt that FVD authorizes another tuner installing there (FVD) software into someones ECU. Let alone another tuner charging a Fee to install another tuners (FVD)software file into someones ECU...

That's flat out wrong... Period..

This is a private sale of software that Elliot has previously purchased.

I have offered my soldering skills ONLY to allow Elliot to sale the physical chip that was removed off his ECU to in order to install my product.

Im sorry if you feel like is "wrong". This is common place in most other markets.

I fail to see any difference from someone reselling one of your turbo kits used.

Please feel free to call me tomorrow if you would like to discuss further.

Pardon my ignorance, but it is my understanding that the chips in the 996tt are not removable, hence the ovd port software loading for performance. Is this not correct?

Also, why would you physically remove a chip when you can remove the software and upgrade and reinstall without any physical means?

I would not be happy if someone removed my chip when they could have done a software upgrade instead.

Sure you can unsolder the chip and put in a new one. It is a bit more difficult than the older versions because of the shorter legs and because it is welded, but can be done with care. This has been done thousands of times by many tuners all around the world for years with older DMEs, no big deal.

Also I wanted to maintain the integrity of the FVD software which I bought and own, as a complete program and unmodified This goes right to EPL's ethics.

This is a good deal for someone wanting to get into a K16/24 set-up without spending a lot of money. I had this program prior to Elliot and ran an 11.5 @ 127 1/4 mile (see video below) with this exact same chip that I subsequently sold to Elliot. At $425 - it's a great price for the software.

For anyone wondering about the chip replacement, I have seen Tony unsolder a chip and replace it with a new one - it takes about 3 minutes and you get your original chip back in a plastic bag in case you ever want to go back...very routine and simple. He has done it many, many times.
