Default GT2 Motor + Subframe mounts

need some input here pls ;

1) are the GT2 engine mounts the same as X73 or harder pls ?

2) Do the GT2 subframe mounts effectively lower the car without impacting on suspension travel ?

I believe there are some kind of mounting pieces with the kit. Not sure what they are though.

I located the part number for the X73 package (#000-044-500-37) but I haven't found the motor mount part numbers documented anywhere (TSB, catalog, etc.) Based on the photo on Carnewal the mounts look to be (and are described as) solid rubber and not hydraulic like the GT2 mounts.

Here is a picture of the X73 motor mount. They are the same as the standard mount except with harder rubber.

Thanks for the photo! You didn't happen to check to see how hard the rubber portion of the mount was when you took the photo? A medium durometer thermoset polyurethane poured into a failed/leaking mount might be worth playing around with.

Jason,

No, no data other than seat of the pants impression. You can feel the difference, but it is slight. The car feels a little tighter handling and with the slight increase in engine noise, the overall effect is one of enhanced feedback of driver input.

maybe the RS version is a little OTT for additional noise and vibration BigBadBen even took his RS Mounts off again and put OEM back on and I would consider Ben pretty hard core when it comes to tuning . Thats why I am shooting for just the hard rubber ones
