Thanks Mike,

I am going to look into this ASAP as I am going O/S on a holiday and I may as well send off my ECU when I'm away and hopefully they will return it by the time I get back.

I'm considering the Fabspeed as well, it's looks like the best value for money and that obviously includes sound & quality. Aparently as a rennlist member you can get a discount as well??

I actually emailed Fabspeed 2 days ago and no one got back to me??

I do however really like the sound of the europipe 2 Loud. But it's a bit pricey.

PS - I love your wheels. Can I ask how much??

So in the bigger picture one might only have to upgrade and pay $400.00 more out of there pocket for a complete tuning system. With my entry level flash you get 3 programs (including your original stock file) and a programmer that can contain 8 files.. That to me is worth an extra $400.00, If you are going to upgrade at a later date..

Again, if you think that you are content with just a 1 bar flash, cheaper options might be the fix. Yeah, until the ZO6 pull up to you or another modded turbo...
How far are you from Portland?

I'm not sure yet on the exhaust I'm mainly looking for sound, (I don't want to blow a ton of money either) I've been leaning more toward Fabspeed but I've seen this "Agency Power Porsche 996TT Exhaust system" from vivid racing and the price of the Stainless system without tips is about $2500 and the titanium about $3500 not bad

Mike,

I just ordered a Fabspeed Gen 3 from Stephen and Imagine Auto Inc as he is doing a group buy a the moment with a great rate.

You should PM him.

Talking Questions about Upsolute if you please.

I just sent an email to the what appears to be the only Upsolute dealer here in Ohio. I asked a loaded question which was whether or not it would be worth the time, money and effort on an '05TT? In looking at their website, it doesn't appear to list the Turbo S.
Even though we've had unusually warm weather here in Ohio, I still have my TT stored and have plenty of time to get it chipped. Any thoughts? Would you think it would be worth it? Also, as a quick aside, I have found my 6spd feels like it's a mile long to throw when running hard and am looking at a short shifter. If chipping does what I hope it would, the short shifter is going to e a must. Anyone happen to know anything about short shifters and performance differences?

I think it's well worth the money, I don't plan on any more engine mod other than an exhaust, I would recommend the billet diverter valves and a K&N filter (or BMC). There are others that would disagree with me but I didn't want to spend 2K on a tuning upgrade, the car has all the power I need and I'm happy with what I did. My car has the factory short shift in it, my prior car (C4S) had the stock shifter, it makes a world of difference in shifting I would highly reccomend it, unfortunately I can't recommend a company
