2 more potential items for the list pehaps:

Clear side markers?
Silver hood crest?

(yes, you can get both of these as well from Eric IIRC). BTW, silver hood crests are becoming VERY hard to find, ever since PCNA unleashed the lawyers.

Both of these should look very nice on your color 996TT.

Clear side markers are on their way from Eric. Item 4 on the list -

Silver hood crest. I like the factory one. Will keep that one for now. Thanks!

Just like the rear brake light. Eric has a clear or smoked unit with red lights... but looking again at the car I think I will leave that alone as well.

Best mod for a 996 Turbo? The GT3 seats! Available in Grey leather, but pricey at $1,600 per seat....Transforms the driving experience....!

JP, love them. Only problem is access to the rear seats for the kids... ..this is, after all, my family car...

Pedal set arrived today but not the style I was expecting...

This is what came in:

Those look like something I could have bought for a few less $$ from http://www.ultimatepedals.com/

This is what I thought I had ordered....

ufff... not sure on what to do...

I emailed the folks at CargraphicUSA just now to see what they respond...

On both, the red light never stays on for more than a day or two, depending on the state of battery charge when I park them.
ltc, thank you sir! Turned out to be a weak alternator. Replaced under warranty.

The other noises were normal (transmission gear noise). Also had the clutch pedal noise that clubrcr (Jim) has and was told that they are not going to pull the engine and tranny to pack a bearing... we had a good laugh on that one... If it fails, they will fix it. But not worth the effort at this time as the clutch is fine and it is working... just the noise... They also showed me the details of the CPO and the line where it states that it covers that in the event of failure... so I should be ok after I reach the 50k miles mark...

Later!

I've got the Cargraphic USA Turbo script pedals you showed in your second pic......I can't believe the ones they sent are Cargraphic Turbo script pedals.

Personally, I'd return them and ask them to get the real pedals from Cargraphic Germany...or confirm that they have in fact changed to the pedals they sent you.

FWIW, you can get the same pedal, minus the Turbo script from Weltmeister IIRC via Peformance Products....I'd have to check again.

Glad to hear it was resolved.
Next time you speak with your dealer, please ask them if they replaced the battery under/during the CPO; and if not, check to see if it's original/OEM.

I'd be somewhat concerned as to the longevity of the battery since you don't know how long the alternator was running low.
The OEM batteries seem to last no more than 4-5 years.....and Douglas is no longer the OEM supplier to PAG/PCNA.....the dealers have been told to source batteries locally....some have chosen Deka.

If a battery replacement is warranted, an Optima (or equivalent) is a durable, long lasting alternative.

The stock battery in my 2003 X50 went 111,750 miles without an issue then I finally had to replace it. The car is a daily driver. Just an FYI.

A new battery was installed. But to tell you the truth I have not looked at it to see what type/brand it is. But I agree with going with the Optima. That is what I have in the 964 and it is a great peace of mind not having to worry about acid leaks or related stuff. I will replace the one in the TT with an Optima come next year.

IIRC, there is a billet adapter to install an Optima in a 996TT?
I'm sure it's been discussed here before.....
