Real estate. Full time REALTOR as well as real estate investor in the Maryland/DC Metro area.

Owned an interstate trucking company in a different life. Gave it up to have a life.

Love Love Love what I do. Tough business to get into around here, been at it since 1989. Wouldn't want to do anything else. I don't own a Porsche yet still looking,(actually I'm in the process of building a toy garage, I've run outa room) but I've got a collection of Harley's and a pair of MBenz. The Land Rover is FOR SALE.

My advise? Find what you love to do and make it your profession. Even if you have to create it. In fact working for oneself is the best! I'm the only one who has ever paid me what I'm worth.

Life is good.

I'm a financial services executive. And, no, I didn't sell you that crappy Dot Com stock. Really.

I love it.

Work for the family trucking business. Tough business to be in right now since fuel prices and insurance have gone through the roof and the economy has been sluggish. 9,000 trucking companies have gone bankrupt in the last 2 years but we are still kicking!!

Hopefully the economy will turn around soon and the people who survived will be able to make some money!!

I definately believe you should find something you enjoy doing and try to get paid doing it. You work too much during your life to not enjoy your job!

Good luck and remember nothing comes easy, to be successful requires hard work and sacrifice.

That's pretty cool. I thought about enrolling in a school they just opened near me, the Lititz Watch Technicum.

Where did you get your training? Do you enjoy your job? How's the money?

Slinky, yup it's true. Jos Bulova School graduate, school now defunct. (Like most of them, including Bowman in Lancaster.) Good luck getting into the Rolex School; over 100 applicants for every opening.

Any good watchmaker should be able to make six figures, with much of it in cash, if they have talent. Top NY salaries are over 100K, and you can do work at home-knock out a couple of watches a week at $200 a pop cash and it adds up.

I am the product development manager for Yamaha brasswind instruments in North America -- long winded title for musical instrument designer. My specialty is trumpets. Strange way to make a living, eh? My advice is to chase your dreams and not the competition. Do that and you'll likely end up happy and successful.
