I own a Paintless Dent Repair business and a wholesale operation selling Rolex's and Patek's. Strange combination of businesses but then again life is sometimes strange.

I don't sell Rolex's, but I can fix them! And I've worked on some Patek's going back to 1850, the first sold in the US.

I just sell Rolex's as a hobby. I may open a store in the next few years but I would need to move to an area that can support that kind of business. I live in Gainesville Fl and there are not a lot of people here buying $5000-$15,000 Rolex's or $4000-$40,000 Patek's.

I use drills, saws, rasps, hammers, and chisels on living human tissue. Great fun. (13 years of higher education required if you don't want to go to jail for it though.)

Still a student. UCSD undergrad, just finishing up an MS at USC (Trojans, not Gamecocks). Plan to apply to med school for '04. I taught the Honors Bio course at USC for 2 years, which paid for my current car (91 C2) and my Masters.

My father is a real estate developer in Reno, he owns the 996 ('03 GT2). He loves his job, but it is a very high stress/ high risk field.

I own a clothing company based in LA.

Do what you love. I am 31 and used to work at Oracle in the Sales Consulting practice (out of their offices in the Dunwoddy, GA area), I made decent cash but was miserable pitching DB software apps. to tightwad IT and purchasing departments.

I'm a 33 year old Mortgage Broker and real estate investor. I opened my first company in 1997 in San Jose, right before the real estate market in that area took off. I owned that for four years before I eventually sold to a partner. I then bought some acreage in Aromas, built a home, and opened a second office in Salinas which is about 45 minutes south of San Jose. That market took off as well. I've been extremely blessed with my work.

I love what I do, there is never a shortage of prospective clients or investment opportunities. If you end up working in a service/sales based industry, remember to treat your clients with respect and be as ethical as possible. You'll have your clients for life and you'll gain respect from your colleagues as well.

If there is one thing I can stress, do what you love and the money will follow.

Driving a nice car won't make you happy, but having a hot girlfriend will certainly help!

I'm an Internet Stratagist / Web Usability person. Great, intersting, always changing work - I think that's key in choosing a career.

I've got a patent in MRI technology and an degreed in that field but moved over to the web - probably taking a huge financial hit - because it was "cool."

DAMIAN in NJ - Can you e-mail me or (PM me) if you don't mind chatting about the watch making buisness?

I've always loved that kind of thing and just assumed I had to live in Italy etc., to ever do that sort of thing. I want to learn more!
