I've never spun the tires on the rim but I have ripped the seat bolts up out of the floor from acceleration. LOL I am also the first to say that more is better as long as you are not breaking stuff and stage 3 or PSI 520 plus exhaust seems like just the right amount before you reach pay attention or kill yourself power levels. It is easy to see why some of the higher hp cars suggest doing suspension first. They are right. At some point you go beyond the stock brakes as well. I think PSS9, PSI 520, ep2 quiet ,dvs , filter and 5 bar fuel pressure regulator should be a nice combo for the street. Also would like some H+R bars. Any other suggestions for bars? GT3 rear only?

Sharky,
What would you expect a 520 or stage 3 TIP to run and trap in the 1/4 mi? my guess is 11.5-11.8.

I've not ridden in a PSI 520 but I'd guess it's similair to a stage III EVO K24 car since it uses mostly similair parts I think? So in mine under those conditions I'd say 11.7 @123 or so with a decent 1.8 60 foot

Sounds about right I guess. That is pretty quick and definately within z06 kill range. I bet it is 10 times easier to run flat 12 in a turbo than several other high hp rear drive cars. Not to say that some can't do it. Especially with the tip. No clutch to feather or bogg.

Yups but it won't "spank" a Z06 either I agree it's so much easier to run a high 11 with a Tiptronic 996TT consistantly than with a Z06... I've drag raced the old Z06 plenty of times, same goes for the 6speed 996TT. The TIp wins in the consistancy department....

Default I cant believe I missed all the PSI 480 stuff!!!

I was actually in Atlanta over the last few days and did not see this
fun post about the PSI 480/Tiptronic outrunning a New C6/ZO6!!
I would have guessed a different outcome like most everyone else,
but this guy has no reason to lie nor would Rolo who is a GT3 guy
and they all know each other. Having said that I am no longer hiding from
the Z06 guys around the twin cities this spring...
I also plan to do a AX-22 measurement with my car before I mod it to
the next level. Johnny G may have an unusually fast Turbo, it would
be interesting to see him take it to the strip and lay down some 1/4 mile
times.
Fun stuff either way
