Again, 6Speed last week

The ZO6 was not stock it had a cam headers and exhaust but i still feel I should have pulled on him harder.Regardless there is no way a tip PSI 480 turbo is staying with a C6 ZO6 OR A 6 speed for that matter.I will get it to the track when they open here on the east coast in March but this same kit made 640hp to the rear wheels when tested by Excellence Magazine at the High Roller Shootout.On top of that I recently installed straight pipes and 65mm tb, plenum and modded y pipe. Guess I need to get it on a dyno.

So, he is a POSER? Huh. LOL. That is a funny post. Porsche just decided to give him $40,000 in free parts and service? Maybe he has a shortness in an appendage and this ego trip helps overcome that. I noticed that no pictures of the chip. exhaust, intake, etc, were posted. I am now sorry I spent so much time defending the Z06.

Last Saturday John from 6speedonline meet me at Fashion Island and took 6 pictures of my engine. I guess he did not have the time this week to verify what the dealership installed.

To me it makes no difference, I have a great turbo S (with or without mods) and a garage full of awesome cars and toys. So why such the hang up on the mods? Just go ahead and say you do not like me because I have the means to drive any car I like and live in So Cal. Not because of a silly claim of HP.

I still own an awesome array of cars and love to spend time talking about them to others who also enjoy them.

As far as the Z06 is, a stock Z06 it will never beat my stock 2004 S600. Any day of the week, just name the place in OC and I will test the theory. I have the car, and the time.

The Porsche is still new and I never claimed it is faster, just an equal.

Clearly the Gixxer rider is not trying. A GSXR1000 (or similar 100 bike) produces over 150hp at the rear wheels and with a weight of approx 270kg wet with rider is producing 555hp/tonne. The 996tt, even if it produces 600hp at the rear wheels and weighs say 1600kg wet with driver produces 375hp/tonne. The Gixxer has a power:weight advantage of very close to 2:1 over the 996tt.... the tt has no chance in this race (in a straight line that is) and that has been demonstrated time and time again. Check out the thread in the 993tt forum on 60-120 times and you will see that a stock MV Augusta 1000 is quicker than almost all the highly modded P-Cars... power: weight is too good. Don't get me wrong, I am not biased as I own a 993 & a Yamaha R1,,,,, both awesome but the P-car is not match for the R1 in acceleration.

Agreed..... but how fast are you going to go 'eating GSXR's for breakfast' on the street, given that the GSXR is faster than almost any car from 60-130mph (200km/hr)?

I am speaking on Markski's behalf perhaps,

Most 2-wheelers let off at 130 or so (wisely), and this is where a high powered
996TT (like Markski's) will start really pulling away.

The problem there is that the bike would be so far ahead of you by the time you got more speed then him, it would take you 1/2 mile more to get even with him.

Ok... i raced a 600, 750. and a 1000... all at once.. there was like 7 bikes... from 60 mph... I beat them all... the 1000 stuck with very close... I also raced my friend 4 times.... he has a1200 zxy( something like that) a 2005 for that matter.... and every time i got a hit.... he never caught up to me.... when he got a hit.... i caught up to him.... when we went together.... he pulled and I caught up... this is joke... no bragging.. i have no reason to do it.
even once my wife was with me.... I wish I can get her on this board( not... unless shes shopping online LOL)
the bikers were so pissed thats they blocked all the lanes on the highway and would not let me by.
one other time.. a guy pulled up on very nice tricked out 750.. he did about 3 wheelies doing 70 mph.... the fourth time I have him thumbs up....and we took off.... was with my friend john... he is a 200 lbs guy.... and I still beat the bike up until 170 mph.... he couldnt believe it... neither could I.... thats was my first race against a bike.

I have a 999 ducati... so Im very aware of bikes/performance....
