Default Ruf wing **** / spoiler ram issue

i haven’t had much luck with any aftermarket spoiler with this car. Front or rear haha (which is fine). I had a techart type 1 wing that didn’t play well with the spoiler rams. I sold that and went back to oem. I’ve had a opportunity to get a genuine ruf rturbo wing so I jumped on that faster than horny guy jumping on a **** star. After a long wait it’s finally home today. Install I know is straight forward... AAAAAAAND same issue. Is over tightening a thing with the spoiler rams? I make sure that they’re snug because I’ve had the factory wing fly off when I didn’t tighten it enough. When I have it raised, I install the wing, press the down button, drivers side stays up and the passenger side goes down. I put the factory wing on, it goes up and down flawlessly. My general ppi prior to me getting the car said the lines were leaking but I haven’t seen any seapage from them.

I know now the answer is just going to be go with the rennkit but figured I’d ask to see what the general consensus is.

And now obligatory before and after pictures.

If you haven't drained, filled and then bled the hydraulics>>you should.. You just need a helper and a jar of new pentosin. I'd also loosen (then tighten) the three each mounting screws for each lift cylinder to help you self align the new Ruf wing blade.

Score.. looks great and signed no less. that wing shouldn’t be any more stressful to the hydraulics than either the OEM or the strosek i have. I’ve successfully re-bled mine 3 times in about 8 years, so as long as the seals and pump are operating normally? you should be able to re-bleed again. to carerra dave lol ) i have the step by step DIY procedure still if you need it, let me know. you're just low on fluid. trust me.

It's possible the spacing is off on the ram mounts by a fraction of a mm and that's binding your ram. Try very slightly loosening the three bolts holding the ram in place to diagnose if that's the issue.
