There you go... peace of mind in a listing.

i am sure I am not the only one saying that you will regret it. Regardless, good luck with your sale.

Beautiful in white, don’t see many of these come up for sale:

2004 Porsche 911 GT3

87k miles
https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-...CALERTSEMLSRCH

Too bad about the carfax accident damage though.

White is very nice on the 996. But for the miles and carfax on it I would take cgfens instead in a heartbeat. Not to mention the condition.

Curious cgfen if the personalized license plate comes with the car or are you keeping it for a 992 gt3? Haha.

Car is SOLD pending transfer of funds.
Sold for above asking in < 25 hours.
Interest was STRONG.

BaT, i say pffffffffft to you for not meeting my reserve $$ request. you lost out on $5k, but I doubt BaT will miss it and I didn't have to deal with the annoying peanut gallery.

No GT3 in the apparent future and new owner will license out of state, so the license plate remains a fungible asset . grin

Speaking of 992 GT3, a blue one with black wheels is in the LA area (press car).

great news. congrats.
considering other pricing at the moment, the 6GT3 should be bringing solid money, as yours did.

Do you mind sharing what BAT wanted you to set the reserve at? I have a couple cars I'm considering selling and want to know if it is a waste to talk to them or not. Thanks

Check out their yelps. They seem to have a lot of unhappy people. My experience was not the greatest buying... but I would probably buy again. Idk about selling.

BaT probably wanted a 60k reserve. If I was going off sales on their platform only, that's probably where I'd end up too.

lol 60k reserve? For the salvage title porsche that last sold at 58k? You can’t compare the two cars and then all the modded cars that were before. The perfect comp for this car sold on 1/4/21 where a 39k mile sold for 77k plus fees. No where near as nice as this one.

I am guessing a reserve from bat was around the 78k mark. Cgfen glad you went another route and sold. Would have been interested to see how high this car could have gone on bat though. Definitely would not have sold anywhere near $60k.....

I don't think you understand what a reserve price is. In my experience selling on there, the reserve they were willing to accept was a solid 25% under the hammer. BaT has little incentive to deal with sellers who could potentially price themselves out of whoever is watching the site the week the car lists.
