Bless you, thanks.

My panties are all twisted up in anticipation; we'll be on track May 4,5 and 6 for shakeout and data...races begin for me two weeks after that.

Hey Kai - I can't get the video to upload to RL. Will you give me your email address so I can send it over to you? I can't stop watching the vid...The sound is sooooo good!

If it would fit, feel free to post it here - I know it's aircooled, but she's old/new and an awesome car.

Andy's Garage in Columbus Ohio has successfully completed this repair. All 8 fittings welded.

It was quite the experience. Eye opening, educating and frustrating all at the same time. In the end I'm glad I did it though if you asked me at a couple spots along the way I would have gladly stopped and paid someone to complete the work. That's what I get for being stubborn about these things.

All of my shake down time is now complete and I'm confident everything is good. Detailed it last night and drove her to work today.

I have an email in to Wright Motorsports here in Cincinnati to see if they are offering any options for this fix. Anyone else in Cincy that might be able to do the work?

Seem to remember a very capable indie named Farhler in your area. Someone local might be able to chime in

I heard back from Wright. They offer the welded fitting option. My plan is to go with them.

Thanks

could you please let me know what they charge? ( PM is ok). I'm going to get this done before I take it back to the track. 150 miles is a lot better than some of my options.

I have been giving some thought to Andy's solution, but finding the time is tough.

I'm about to do this maintenance on my GT3 and I'm considering Motorwerks or GoldCrest in Kennesaw. How was your experience?

Dropped the car off to Wright yesterday. It's always inspiring to poke around their shop.

If you want pricing, please contact Tim.

Hi gman3280. Stay far, far away from Goldcrest!

I went there to have the pipes welded up and while the engine was out they took my perfectly stock car and did this to it. And now it's so fast none of the RS's want to play anymore
