I am really looking forward to your next post Serge...

This is the best build thread for our cars that I have seen, nice job. Now make us all jealous with your video of it running and a dyno chart!

I'm afraid the next post will be disappointing. There is no start up video since our main coolant hoses and accessory belt didn't come today. We also developed a leak at the clutch slave cylinder hose...

However, the engine is in and we managed to fit the muffler in an acceptable position. I was afraid that we would have to modify the tips, but it looks like it'll work as-is.

Pardon the cellphone pics...brought extra batteries but forgot my memory card!

Great work Serge.

I would love to do the same to my car and probably will once the engine starts to go south. Thanks for documenting.

Serge remove the left and right exhaust heat shields. You don't need them with this exhaust.
Order 2x 996 505 739 9B braces from 996 cup car to support the bumper.

You can also remove the oem side muffler brackets..

The car looks good! It just needs a diet now.

Serge, call Ira at Tarett for suspension goodies. I got what Mooty told me to buy. They make a huge difference.

Can't wait for you to post dyno and performance figures.

The 4.0 is a must do ...

Hearing it start so effortlessly was incredible. I still have a grin from ear to ear.

You're right John, the heat shields gotta go.

Chris, I have the Tarett toe links already. I'm not going to do any more suspension work just yet. I just want to drive my car!

This thread certainly doesn't deserve to be hijacked... But please expand on the suspension bits!

I'll send you the list next week.

Serge, reconsider. No more bounce, then set in a sweeper. Now set and go.
