PFC users. Tried any different F to R PFC pad combos?
Anybody use the 06 in front and 01 in rear? With the slightly higher bite than the 06, running the 01 in rear would give a bit more rear bias. Having never run that combo (ran 06 F&R in the GT3) would be interested to hear if anybody has done that and what their thoughts were.
This would be similar to the RS19/29 in front and RS14 in back that Pagid users run except the difference would be smaller since the 19/29 is more like the PFC97 pad.

I run Pagid 29s in the Rear Hawk DTC 70's in the Front. Only reason really is because I've always like DTC's since they came out and I already had Pagids on the rear with plenty of life.. I went with the 70's for the front as I thought that would be a better combo than the 60's.
Seemed fine at Mid-OH.. Although there isn't any real hard braking areas like I'll be able to test tomorrow at Road Atlanta.

Sorry Dave, I was looking for PFC combos and I just realized my thread title didn't say PFC combo. I fixed it.
Really looking to see if anybody has done the 06F 01R setup.

I have currently 97 front and 06 Rear on the GT3. I have run 06 Front and Rear with the GT3. I like the 97/06 combo better on the GT3. On my Cup Car I run 06/06 and the braking is amazing in that thing. I haven't tried the 01 pad yet so I can't comment.

I m using PFC01 for the front and 97 for the rear.
Braking feel on hard driving is pretty good, kinda balance as in one doesnt seem to be overpowering the other. I actually like the combo and will stick to that.

Bill, a couple of questions. Did the GT3 have iron rotors from the factory? What are the rotor size in the cup car? I'm wondering if the size of the rear rotor contributes to additional rear bias on cars with the larger 350mm rear rotors. When you think about it, with all things being the same, positioning the pads/rotor farther from the center of the wheel will produce higher torque and more braking force. Good document here http://www.stoptech.com/tech_info/Th...%20Systems.pdf Check the Rotor heading... Lou

WTF??? You dialed in MORE front brake??? You're moving the opposite direction.

Lou, I had ceramic rotors in the GT3 which I took off. Used Perfromance Friction rotors in the front and 997 Cup Car rotors in the rear. I currently have a set of Cayenne rotors in the front which seem to be working fine after they got bedded in. In my Cup Car the size of the rotors are 350 mm front and 330mm in the rear.

Bill, thanks for your reply. I'm also running the Cayenne rotors in the front. One track event and they seem fine. Got them for $76 from Rockauto. They did not have the cryo-treated with slots. Next time. I'm also running 997 cups in rear. I was at dealer last month and noticed that Panamera Turbo also uses 350mm rears. I bet it will be a bolt on... I will try once rear cups are done. Lou

Dell haven't tried it yet, but will be soon.. Must say, I like the PFC's MUCH BETTER than the Pagid's, use to run RS19's/RS29's and then just switched to the PFC 06's since I burnt out a set at the track and a guy had the PFC's for me to swap in.. Have loved them since

I drank the pagid juice until my race shop convinced me to switch to pfc. Now, I know what all the fuss over pfc is about
