Talking My GT3 Is Home!!

This was Sloth's former car, and it spent just a short amount of time in TX with Stratocaster.

Many thanks to John Alvi @ Leith Porsche in Cary NC. If you need to find a Porsche, anywhere, not just NC, John is your guy!

As far as I know I have the complete history, back to August of 2003, along with the original window sticker and what I am told is the 'shipping label' that came with the car off the boat.

Sloth took tremendous care of this car, and the service history reflects that completely.

o 2004 Porsche 996 GT3
o Speed Yellow/Black
o Full Leather Interior
o ~12,400 Miles
o One Owner
o Original Sticker Price $114,705
o Factory Options
o Speed Yellow Exterior
o Full Leather Interior
o Speed Yellow Seat Belts
o Optional Thick Steering Wheel
o Carbon Fiber Interior Package
o Lowered Seat Option
o PCCB Brakes
o Painted Wheel Crests
o RS Lightweight Flywheel & Clutch
o RS Style Wheels With Black Centers
o Forward Center Console Delete Kit
o Spare Chin Spoiler
o Indoor Car Cover
o Aftermarket Items
o Clear-Bra On Lower Hood, Front Clip, And Mirrors
o Hard-Wired For Valentine 1 Plus Remote Display
o Michelin Pilot Sport Tires

Upon receipt I had the following modifications made:
  • Tequipment roll / harness bar installed
  • Tequipment harnesses installed
  • Euro GT3 seats installed
  • GT3 Cup brake ducts installed
  • SRF fluid installed
  • Window tint installed
  • Ride height and alignment verified
  • Wheels refinished to stock color
  • Tech Inspection performed

These are the quick and dirty pictures from just ~30min ago. Not much daylight left.

The ride home was orgasmic!

All Pictures

Now the fun starts.....

Scott.

I was waiting to see this post...

Enjoy the car in the best of health. I had a great time with her and hope that you do the same. Sorry I couldn't be of any help in getting her to you sooner, but at least you and Strat were able to work things out. Regardless... I'm pleased to see her with another Rennlister and look forward to hearing/reading all about it.

Another detail in case you didn't know... It also has an Evo Shift-link and needle bearing kit.

No problem Max. I knew Steve and I (and John) could work something out. Good to know about the shift bits.

I got to file all of the documentation in my binder tonight, and was just shaking my head at everything you had done; top notch. I could not be any happier!

Dell is less than 5 min away. I'll be keeping a very close watch on my keys.

Default Nice!

Hopefully see you on the track at some point. Love the contrast of the rather seductive curves in the land of many gables! (my architect observation) Have fun (more fun than us up north at the moment) and the best to ya.

That is plain WRONG, Scott.

Dell has never been the same since moving the 3, and now there's a SY BEAUTY just down the road.

The paint looks flawless. I know what your intentions are... wrap that ENTIRE car in clear bra NOW.

Congrats!
