Default Left rear tire wears faster than right side.

I swapped the R888s for PS2s last weekend and noticed it on both. I had R888s before the current set and same thing. What do you guys think? I've a stock LSD with stock clutch packs in last year. Btw, PS2s never seen a track. Only street drivings.

Sell the car. It's flawed. Make way for the Z06. I hear they wear tires 100% evenly.

LOL! Respect the Z06!!!

Anyway, I remember Mooty posted pictures of his tires once and mine look very similar wear pattern like his. Especially, left rear tire.

Mine do that, but i attribute it to clockwise tracks.

Thanks. That also makes sense. But, my PS2 has never been on the track. Unless Rob drove them hard before he sold it to me.

When was the last time you got accurate alignment specs checked? Could be something as simple a one of your alignment setting being off.

Alignment settings (new) and a pic of the tire would really help us to diagnose the uneven wear pattern.

Of course! I should have asked about your suspension. Do you have the stock toe links?

Haven't done the alignment for a year now. I started using both tires since the stock toe links and the old worn out one from TPC so the wear might have started back then. Local track guys also told me that summit point takes a lot of left rear tires so I'll recheck the alignment/compare and make a conclusion. Thanks guys.

End of discussion.

Wow! No alignment check in a year and you track the car? Ken, get your butt into the shop and get that done more often....that's an order

Almost guaranteed to be an alignment problem, excessive toe in or out.

AGREED, I check mine after each event just to make sure it's all nut and bolted, and because my toe tends to go out (this was with stock toe links).. The links were worn out and the culprit!

Agreed, again when I had stock toe links same thing.. Stil necessary to have it checked after every few events though, I remember my car wouldn't hold alignment well at all , no problem since!

Pretty sure you can swap tires from left to right to even the wear. As a data point I had an alignment done when I bought mine, along with suspension and new toe links.
One year later (the next spring) I had the alignment done again. It had not changed at all.

I spoke with a Michelin factory rep at the Parade. He stated that they saw it with 911s and from their point of view it is normal for our cars.
