sideplates look bigger than oem and the bolt heads are the same ones that are found on a Manthey wing

I got this picture from Bill at Rennworx -- USA Manthey Dist.

Looks similar... but you may want to send your pics directly to Bill and have him take a look.

I'm doing some more checking.

Viperbob says Porsche made a mistake on the 1 Feb 2008 price increases for GT2 and GT3 parts, and Porsche dealers are getting new information.

Thanks guys. What about the supports? Is there a way to tell? Also, I'm sure there's a weight difference between the OEM and aftermarket. Does anyone know the weight of the OEM model?

Also note the weave on the oem side plate is horizontal versus the other brand being vertical. The mounting brackets on the one you asked about look good.

RS Wing weight. Unfortunately, I didn't use very accurate scales but I measured it at 6 lbs and the standard wing at 8 lbs.

I maybe missing something but I thought the Wing in this picture http://sfbay.craigslist.org/pen/pts/579430186.html was discussed eariler in the thread. There are many companies that make replica RS Wings.

I thought so too, as the pics looked familiar (I think it belongs to someone here). But when I searched thru the thread I didn't see it, so I posted the link. It's definately a knock-off, but that's all I know about it other than what's in the ad.

From the post above, martind is the seller. I'm not sure of the make of that wing.
