Default The debated decals (Photos of my 996 GT3)

It was a beautiful day today to start my vacation so after doing some holiday cleaning in my house and repeatedly telling the dog not to eat the christmas tree, I got bored and thought I'd take the 3 for a spin.
Ended up snapping some photos while the sun was setting. So please enjoy the idyllic scenery of my home village and my car (especially the decals...lol)

Now I'm gonna crack open a beer can and start taking apart my BBS wheels.
I will replace the cracked magnesium front centers as well as replace all gaskets and bolts on all wheels. Many thanks to Gert at Carnewal for getting all the parts to me all the way from Belgium.

Can't wait for 2008 DE season to start! I will be prepared!!

You know... your only going to raise Dell's blood pressure with these photos. Myself, I could careless if someone else puts CS or RS or BS on their car, but the GT3 is, in my view, a near exotic and really doesn't need any other designations.

That said, your car looks absolutely stunning. My question is what camera, lens and f stops are you using?

Thanks guys!

I don't think Dell will sweat it. He knows I will come to my senses some day and replace them with plain GT3 decals!! hahah!

I have a Canon 20d and for these photos I used my 10-20 Sigma wide angle and my 24-70 2.8L Canon lenses.
F-stops were anywhere between 9 and 22, depending on the shot. I can look up the exif data for each shot if you're interested!?
On thing to note is that I'm pretty amateur when it comes to photography and shooting in RAW helps me a lot since I don't need to be dead on with the white balance and exposure. (i.e. I do quite a bit of PP on the photos usually).
But I'm slowly learning...

Juha, you have a gorgeous car and I am always thrilled to look at your photos.
Off with the decals, however.

Actually, those are some fantastic pictures! While I don't care for the "CS" it sure as heck doesn't look bad. Matter of fact it looks great on the car. Great pics J!

Jet.....what about "tone on tone". Black decals on a black car. Might look very cool.

Nice pics! We need to create a thread for all GT3s on here.

Jet, do black or silver if you want.
