Very nice shots indeed. What wheels do you have and how do you think magnesium centers would have cracked? Just trying to stay informed on various wheels and their strength. Very sharp car. Love to see a before and after with the decals. I suspect it would look beautiful without them too.

Unfortunately I will be traveling most part of January so my 2008 "season" will not start before February.
I hope to see you again at Sebring Mark!

Hey man, I'm rocking the Kussmaul settings so the front is at 115mm and the rear is at 120mm as per the specs...

The BBS are the older style E28 with Magnesium spokes/centers. They have a tendency to generate small hairline cracks in the hard spots (spoke corners etc.) after excessive use on the track.
I bought my wheels used from a friend and he had already replaced the rear centers with the new generation E88 aluminums. Now I'm replacing the centers on the front wheels.
Thanks for all the compliments everybody! The car looks good but now I just gotta learn how to drive the car fast too....

It was a beautiful day today to start my vacation so after doing some holiday cleaning in my house and repeatedly telling the dog not to eat the christmas tree, I got bored and thought I'd take the 3 for a spin.
Ended up snapping some photos while the sun was setting. So please enjoy the idyllic scenery of my home village and my car (especially the decals...lol)![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

Adrien, is MR for "Manthey Racing"?
Also, what is the rear stability like with the MkII RS wing compared to the MkI "Taco" wing? Did you notice any difference?

For the 997 conversion, they called it the GT3MM for road use, and the race version was called GT3MR.
MR = Manthey Racing
MM = Manthey Motors
I'm running the Manthey carbon wing which is fractionally bigger (length and width) than the RS wing, but importantly it has a deeper aerofoil providing more downforce. The difference between the Mk1 Taco
