If I am not mistaken, he's talking of an asphalt race tire designed for Rallye's. What you are referring to is the OEM Porsche specification found on all factory installed tires.

This new round of PS, noted as the N2, is supposed to be far better than the last PS.

Well, that's what Porsche has been installing on the GT3's since last year. Didn't your car come with them?

Yes, the PS2 is the best maximum performance *street* Pilot Sport to date.

Mistaken? There is a new Michelin race tire called N2. Furthermore, the original question came from a GT3 owner who was likely to already have the PS2 (N2) tires.

Studded tyres! Wow, interesting stuff. I can just imagine aggressively studded tyres on the Turbo or GT3. What fun!!!

Any photos or more information on these tyres Viken?

The Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 significantly outperforms not only its predecessor, but all other Michelin high-performance summer tires as well, both in wet and dry conditions.

The "N" number is a Porsche design rev indicator for OEM tires (N0, N1, N2)
