Thanks for the plug Scott. Ya, it’s what I paid for it 5 years ago. I’m looking for a quick sale. White is an incredible color on the 996 GT3, I believe it’s because the narrow body lines are so subtle. White helps bring them out a bit.

FYI, if the those seats are authentic GT3 Recaro in perlon and are in good shape they are $$$$$. I’d add that front and center to your ad as those will have a good impact on pricing. Aside from blue, I think that option is probably the best dollar return on these cars now.

Thanks guys👍
Yes the Perlons are in great shape and are big $’s. They are indeed the Factory Recaro’s with the Porsche emblem stitched in. Super comfortable!
Indiana J, I responded to your PM. I’ve been out of town and just checked the site today. Lots of interest 👍

I've had the unusual pleasure of driving a 996 GT3, 996 GT2, 991 GT3, 991 GT3RS, and a 991 GT2 RS all in close proximity. Investment value disregarded - between the 2 996's I preferred the GT3. Among the 991's - the GT3RS. I'm sure the slowest of these on a long track would be the 996 GT3. I'm also sure the one that makes me feel most like I did all the driving was the 996 GT3. In fairness the 996 GT2 wasn't handling in a way that made pushing it comfortable - so it was probably the biggest hand full. The GT2RS was the thrill ride but it's not even breathing hard at 100 MPH. That speed felt like 50 MPH. 100 mph in a 996 feels fast. In a 991 it feels calm. Certainly the newer cars are better but I never got them going fast enough to feel like I needed to control the car. The cars are effortless. It's like the difference between going 70 mph in a roller coaster and 220 mph in first class on a jet taking off. You know you're going fast on a jet but it doesn't feel like it. On a roller coaster you know you've actually driven your car faster to the amusement park but 70 mph in a roller coaster is terrifying.

Great write up jpoint👍 So no coparo’s to the 997 GT platform. Curious how that stacked up to your 6-3 experience. I am just now going into the 997 Platform w a well developed RS, so I’ll soon have some experience to share with the group here. Stay tuned👍
Initially I think the big diff is going to be the chassis. And rear track...

She’s Home. Thanks for all the input here guys. Your opinions and sage advice all helped me finally make my decision. I drove my 6-3 down to E-Motion Engineering this morning to make the swap. I must admit the drive down was bittersweet. My 6-3 still delivers the mail, but the drive home was on another level! What a machine this is, and the work Joey Seely did to make this car what it is, well,... simply sublime. I’m Stoked!!! I will share better pics soon. I’ll also include some great pics of the suspension and undercarriage. Wow, it’s frickin gorgeous...
