Thanks for the plug Scott. Ya, it’s what I paid for it 5 years ago. I’m looking for a quick sale. White is an incredible color on the 996 GT3, I believe it’s because the narrow body lines are so subtle. White helps bring them out a bit.

OP, late joining here. I was just going to say that I too flirt with 997 RS's online every winter while my 6gt3 is in storage. Today, just like in all previous Springs, I took it out on the first backroad run and I am fully back in love, all repentant for my blasphemous RS winter thoughts. ![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
We seem to have a very similar back-roads pair in the 6gt3 and the Boxster. The 6gt3 is for the rare intense, sweaty palms, short (30-60min) backroads runs. The Boxster for the almost every-day top-down backroad runs. Very different experiences. To add to this contrast I'm now putting a muffler bypass in the 6gt3 for even more noise and rawness. We'll see how that goes.![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Similar to the RS flirtations against the 6gt3, I've also been having Spyder flirtations against the Boxster. Your Spyder looks very tempting -- torn by the auto-top comfort, great color combo (GT Silver + Nat Brown full leather), and the >2x price diff. Just picked it up from my mechanic with new Michelin PS4S and a Milltek exhaust and drives, feels, and sounds like a brand new car!![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Congrats on the RS and GL with your sales! And love your W Rohrl sig!

Only 39 white 996 GT3’s imported to NA?
Great write up there hf1. Thanks for your take on this. I spent the afternoon deep cleaning the inside of the car including the motor bay and Frunk. Felt great and helped me re bond with the car again. It’s a very special machine👍 Nice Boxster too. They are great little cars. The Spyder is a different animal and very very quick and nimble. The top takes 2 minutes to take down and store, and another 2 to re install. Very unique piece of Porsche engineering.

Sorry, I got that from an old Rennlist post. It was later corrected to say 51 white Carrara 996.2 GT3s

I thought yellow was much rarer!

Yellow was the launch color, and arguably the best looking color for the 6gt3. 😀

I believe the pie charts, although I don't know the source of any of these graphs. I remember the pie charts and was looking for them, but could only find the ones that I referenced. Thanks for posting them.

Thanks for posting the color wheels. I knew the Carrara White cars were relatively rare, just didn’t know actual numbers. Cool👍 I’ve said it before, the 996 GT3’s look just perfect in white.
