With all the bogus use of patents I see in my trade (software), it's good to see them being used as they were intended for a change.

Congrats Jake.

I call BS! Everybody knows you can replace the IMSB with a wheel bearing puller and reinstall with a section of 2.5" PVC pipe from Home Depot. All this fancy pants stuff.....

LOL...very very impressed Jake. Good job! Congratulations and Oooorah! Good man you are....

The prototype for this Patented Faultless Tool was originally made from scrap material laying next to my milling machine, coupled to a 914 AC compressor next nut, and 12.00 worth of stuff from the local hardware store.

It looks like Frankenstein, but it's all I use still today🤘
I lived the majority of my life having to make something, out of nothing, and I learned how to to be good at it. Today I tend to find myself continuing to do the same.

The vulnerability in this situation is there seems to be only one expert inventing Patent-worthy fixes to save the M96 from itself.
Who else has a significant Patent for any part to help us keep these engines running ?
Porsche just abandoned this issue.
I hope Porsche at least send Jake a fruit cake at Christmas?
For all the advice he has given here, maybe we should too ?
Until December, I'll just say "Thank you Jake".

Congrats. Thanks for your great products.
I would not be purchasing my, new to me, 2001 996 C4 without the new bearing. Your effort and skill has made ownership of the 996 a reasonable risk for me. I am sure many others are grateful for your efforts.
