Things I done learnt here:

1. 996 owners are a weird bunch of mother****ers. I have found My People.
2. Pace yourself - otherwise, you wind up like John Ireland.
3. Many Porsche owners are desperate to differentiate themselves and/or prove why their Porsche is better than other Porsches. Some of the posts in 993 and 997 make me ashamed to own a Porsche.
4. 996 and 914 guys give zero f**ks about what most people think.
5. The 986 and the 996 are incredibly easy re: standard maintenance.
6. It's a misconception that all people from Canadia are friendly.
7. I have a third ********.
8. Some people in this forum do not read lists in their entirety.

I don't have any Chrysler K cars, let along 30 of them. I will admit that they are odd though and probably only worth 150 bucks.

I've learned that my 996 will grenade its motor at any given moment for any number of different reasons (IMS, OAS, cracked head, etc).

I'm going to drive the **** out of it anyway because it's just so damn fun to drive. And if it does blow up then I'll do an LS swap.
