Default Front respray pictures

Cleaning up 78K of rock chips and spoiler scrapes. Removing a 12 year-old clearbra had also peeled off a couple of chunks of clearcoat.

Can't wait to pick her up!

Going to be about $3500 all told. Insurance is paying some for the clearcoat damage. Full, quality glass out respray was $12K. Just not logical on a much loved, but ultimately $20K car.

But now with the wheels refinished, the front resprayed, and lowered with Eibach springs and Konis, she is ready for another 80K. Until something else breaks. #OldPorscheLife

Nope. USAA. Just explained that I had damaged the car removing the old clear bra. No different than if something fell on the car in the garage. They accepted claim for a fender and part of the hood. I haven't had a claim that was my fault since (thinks some, realizes it was 1987, and feels old)... a long time ago, this one won't raise my rates.

No. I'm just going to accept what the road gives me.

And actually it was a degrading clear bra left too long on repainted panels that caused the non-factory clear to peel off in chunks.

Sweet, you know that's what I like to hear.

Very nice! I just had the nose of my '03 C2 resprayed. It looks great. I had the wheels sprayed black, too while the car was in the shop. Huge improvement. (fwiw, photo was sent to me by the bodyshop guys -I'm not one of these ******* who runs with the wing "up" all the time)

This is a job on my list too. About a million rock chips and small scratches in the hood and bumper. Hard to justify the cost of a great full respray for a driver but the chips are starting to irritate me. Looks great!

Would really like to see finished pics showing the blend/match from front fender to door.

Looks great! Glad to hear that insurance covered some of it. I may pursue that. I'm about to remove a 13 year old clear bra from mine. In the last year it has begun to crack and look terrible. I'm not excited about the removal process and I know I'll need to respray the bumper at the very least. Hopefully the hood and fenders will be OK!
