Ok, were told that scored cylinders happens more in colder climates.

I know of quite a few here in cold Ottawa, Ontario with the issue.

ottawa = very hott summers and very colt winters. Maby the wear will appear in hot summer driving, ones the weather gets cold and you have bigger clearance att startup you will hear/notice the actual problem.
At this point you have a problem and every cold start will wear the cylinder even more.

Just opinions again, Im verry interessted in this problem...

but if you guys tell me that the only reason is cold start that wears the bore. I’ll install a block warmer.

i just don't drive mine in the winter. The Subaru is much more fun this season anyways.

I just don't drive mine at all and let it sit in the garage where it will appreciate and become worth $90k+ in about 2 years.
