Maybe this photo will help. Quite difficult to mess up I think.

some swearing in this so watch the volume.

Ran it for 20 minutes at 2000rpm. I have a small coolant leak that will need to be addressed but otherwise it ran great.

drained the oil and took some pics of the lne plug. I am using joe gibs driven break in oil.

Outstanding!!
Great job.

The drain plug looks about normal for 20 minutes of no load running. I look at mine the first time after 52 miles. Did you use Renold, or IWIS timing chains, lots of the material on the plug is coming from the chains at this point.

Can someone tell me the part # for this hose (rubber, not the hard lined one)?

Looking on auto atlanta, it looks like it is 99610622267 but it splits into 2 at one point in their pictures...mine doesn't do that.

Thanks for all your help behind the scenes on this build Jake. From the advice, and the deals you gave me, everything you did is really appreciated. Please call me if you are in the Ottawa area. I owe you lunch and some beers.

I went with IWIS chains with the link, believe these are the ones you suggested I use during the online class I took.

What a sweet sweet sound! When you get a chance, I'd love to see a recap on your thoughts of the entire process. Just a full brain dump of things that stuck out, lessons learned, costs, and if you thought the whole thing was worth it.

At one point the hoses changed over from a one to one to a two to one. That's all I can help with.

BTW......FANTASTIC JOB!!! I was sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for that thing to turn over.

Maybe by the weekend. Going to get my temp plate sticker tomorrow, and hopefully get my emmissions testing done next week.
