This may seem out in left field but: I've replaced many bearings on bicycles and motorcycles in the wheels, suspension and motor. Sometimes they go in easy and sometimes they are way too hard to press in. When they're too hard to press in, they don't spin smoothly. if you remove them, they do spin smoothly. I would never trust one of these IMS ball bearings that was too tight no matter how fancy the bearing is

Which is why I’d only have an experienced (Porsche 996/997) shop perform the bearing replacement.

You trust the people who were hand picked by the inventor to carefully execute the procedure. These people were trained about housing bore sizes, measurement procedures, and specialized installation. They have a direct life line right back to me, if in doubt, they ask before moving forward. They know their certification that took time, money, and a 4 day trip to my world for evaluation is on the line with every installation they perform. They don't want to lose that, and they know that there's no second chances extended.

I don’t think Jake is easy to impress.
So if an installer impresses him and then gets invited to learn from him how to install the IMS Solution, and then gets certified…trust me, he’s good enough for you!

1,440 people have attended my classes since 2008.
Of those 40 have been selected to continue on into the Certified Installer program.
Of those, 34 have made the grade.
Of those, 2 made a single mistake and I yanked the certification immediately. Neither mistake led to damage, or a failure, but they didn't follow protocol, and got my boot in their ***. Some things in this world still have consequences.

So, 2.3% make the cut.
Nope, you ain’t buying your way onto the certified installers list.
You have to be the best of the best.
If Jake says they’re certified…you can trust them.

I would like to know how ball bearings survive in motorcycle engines with all that potential crap floating around in there?

the pic of the bearing at the beginning of this thread looked like it was crushed to me
