Scotty the new owner of my 996. Little does he know I've been driving that car in my sleep.

I would personally go big and do "GT3RS". Just get a different wing, center exhaust, front canards and call it a day. lol

Those engine parts look real "purdy" Pete. We need more pics to share with your patient waiting. When do you think you'll be driving this 380hp 997?

Thanks Steve...hopefully within a couple weeks. Hope to have pics of the motor going in the car....that's up to Flat6.

I'm thinking of leaving the badge-less but am thinking about some decals with a 4.0 on it. Something subtle.

Go badges, but a 4.0 designation might be a nice subtle touch. You must be going nuts with anticipation. Time for a cigar and a stiff drink while walking around your garage...

Nah, we don't like telling people what's under the hood.. No windshield banners either. I like it best when no one even knows I've been inside the engine.

The engine will be fully optimized before it leaves here, that means time on my dyno as well as 150 test miles, along with my live tune- if it needs it.

Bigger is only better if it's optimized.

FYI
That's not an oil spot on the floor... It's where our feet have worn through the epoxy floor coating from standing in the same circle for years. Every time I start to redo the coating I change my mind, because of the reality and character that it gives the room. Most people any imagine that any work gets done in that room, because it's too clean. The worn out floor proves it.

Here's a teaser photo of my engine room at the research facility.

And the display case... Too bad the only people that ever see it are the ones who attend my classes :-)
This is MY lair, no one else works here.

What I am working on today.... 200HP engine install into this 56' Speedster Outlaw. Excuse the clutter, been doing some cut, chop, modify on this one.
