Yeah. Maybe he was too bummed out that the entire engine was a pile o' scrap metal once he opened it up?

I know that many here, not just me, really wanted to see that carnage. Oh well.

Schnell, I have already explained that there is only one Martin, no alter egos. That other guy Scott or whatever his name is was wrongly accused of posting as me here on rl, but he's a separate person and we are not affiliated. He's also a smart guy who knows what he's talking about. It was really funny to read how everyone thought it was me and kept calling him Martin, he had absolutely no idea what you guys were talking about, lol.
From what I know he works on transmissions in Georgia, I work on engines currently in Illinois

I just love that American notion of competition - it is good for everyone ,especially grateful immigrants like Martin & me .

Martin, you must be very busy but it would be great if you can stick around to offer advice/help to RL'ers in this forum for engine related issues. Will be good PR for your business too

Yea, as I always say competition is good for consumers. It's a process of natural selection and only the fittest will survive.

Hopefully, you mean 'fittest' in the plural sense, Ahsaï.

I, for one, am very pleased you undertake this task given your well-earned credibility and integrity within RL and RTech folks.
I'm sure we will all learn from it.
I hope this engine turns out salvageable for you, eventhough it looks not promising at this stage.

I'm always happy to help anyone with engine questions. I'm usually busy during the day and I race on the weekends whenever possible, that doesn't leave much time to check all treads on rl. If anyone needs immediate assistance just call me directly on my cell#224.634.1360 or my wife Agnes@773.431.9107.
Good luck with the rebuild!

One bolt at a time......one bolt! That's how I work on my projects and sooner or later they are finished. If you can only do half an hour every now and then, just make sure you stick with it and the project will finish.

Best advice that can be given... Its how I also approach big projects. Don't look at the big picture, break it down in several smaller projects chronologically planned out.

Yes guys, I've been working on it an hr here and there. Already drained all the coolant and engine oil and disconnected a few coolant hoses. Now just need to block out at least half a day to drop the engine.
