I do think it's the .1 boxster aero bumper which is unique to the boxster, unlike the .2 and I like the way it looks.
Considering how much the 996 aero bumper is new right now, I'm leaning towards just doing it, just wanted outside opinions.

Go to howtoporsche.com which you will find the production numbers by model variant but unfortunately not the number of aero kits. But the bottom line is that the number of 996.1 C2 coupes produced (25K+) were over 2x the number of 996.2 C2 coupes (11K+). It would would be reasonable to assume as a byproduct that there would be more aero kit 996.1 as a result.

Rose Passion quoted me $1800 shipped to pdx so I’m all over that (the used .1 boxster bumper got snagged while I haggled for $1100 shipped). The GT3 bumper will look awesome and new is better.
Not that anybody in this thread is necessarily interested, but figured an update on the market might be helpful in case any of you with epic aero kits ever damage your front bumper.
