Fitment was pretty darn good overall, material needed expected prep work (more than what they claim, but that's expected)-clean residue off the pieces, sanding, a little trimming, etc.... I had a body shop do all the work. They specialize in high end kits, body repairs. They went with an industrial glue instead of the '3M tape' for longevity. I'd be more than happy to give you the shop's number-PM if you want. They trimmed the sideskirts too underneath so a jack/puck won't tear up the skirt when lifting. I'd buy it again. They do offer a mini duck tail that I thought of doing instead of the wing, but it wasn't quite what I wanted. Armando, at Better Bodies, would work with ya I'm sure if you wanted to do a custom kit pkg.

Good info, thanks! I’m still kicking the idea around of either full aero or just adding a lip kit type deal. I’ve only really seen these types in lighter colors which can show deficiencies in the kit/paint. I have a black car as well and black can usually hide those small details better.

Thank you!

I was humming and hawing for over a year, chatting with the paint place about custom colours, etc. and we finally settled on this colour. Not quite as blue as Ipanema Blue, but more blue than Ocean Jade Metallic. I'm a fan.

This car got a lot of activity in the last day as it went from 30k ish to the selling price of $46,250. So $48,500 with fees. Solid price. I’d love to install a LSD in my car at some point.

scary that I sold mine this time last year for $27k. That’s crazy price escalation.

2003 Speed Yellow GT3 Aero Kit. Factory Speed Yellow center console and yellow seat belts. I have a ton of brand new parts piled up waiting to go on this car. I will start a build thread for it here very soon.

$27k last year seems pretty low in general, XAA? Private sale? Mileage / condition? There were aero's going for well into the 30's and some low 40's last year.

at the time the range of $25-30k was normal. You were not seeing many above $30k. The most expensive car i could find at the time was $33k.

Yeah definitely wasn't many, the black one and there was one red that I recall probably longer than a year ago, then few in 30's like you mentioned. Higher dollar ones then boiled down to condition, much as the mix of 20's/30's.

Exactly. I was selling an example in great condition and there were not too many examples to compare to. Everyone laughed at the $33K example as being too high (it was). I thought I was fair on the pricing I had and was trying to get a quick sale without tire kickers. I literally sold in less than 5 hours.

In hindsight, even selling 6 months later would have taken my price into the mid-to upper $30's. The idea of a 996 aero selling in the $40s was ridiculous.

Like with stocks, you can never predict the market. I had 3 Porsches in my garage and needed to sell one of them, as they weren't getting driven. No regrets, but it is amazing to see the price escalation on a model that everyone loved to bad mouth only 18 months ago.
