Very shiny and black, makes it look very purposeful. I like the matching blacked out headlights, care to share any details on them?

Thanks! Yep! Black is nice when its clean. On a windy day it turns brown! Lol! The headlight is a tint film. Although I get compliments on the tint, I removed it and took it back to stock. I just tried it. Honestly, I prefer the look of the stock 996 headlight, especially on the aero kit, such examples on this thread. A lot of beautiful 996 aero MkI and MkII on here!

VISH, your Vesuvio car is stunning. I notice from your one photo-it looks like you have some sort of a custom exhaust setup, any details on that too?

Its catless with gundo mufflers. When I bought the car it had extremely poor exhaust work on it so it just have everything welded better but I might make a custom x pipe

Thanks for sharing, going catless X Pipe with the gundos will provide an excellent soundtrack.

Sounds great diddy, here’s another route people can go if you are running catted. X pipe 200 cell, small resonators welded in place to muffler bypass pipes. I will be adding better videos once spring arrives. Shockingly minimal drone, lots of sound though, not for everyone

Noticed that there aren’t a lot of 996.2 aero’s in this thread, is it more uncommon than the 996.1 aerokit? Was the option not available until later in its production?

Hi,
Adding some pictures of my 996.

My dream for the last 40 years or so have finally come true, I'm a 911-owner :-)
It has the aero-kit but according to the VIN it came from the factory without, don't know if the parts are OEM or aftermarket yet.
It also came with Forest green painted Turbo wheels from the factory, maybe I'll go back to that some day.

I need to do some digging later on due to no papers came with the car, except the service book.
The car is in storage now during the winter, so during spring I will try to understand what I've actually bought, it is not stock in regards to springs and exhaust.

Go to howtoporsche.com which you will find the production numbers by model variant but unfortunately not the number of aero kits. But the bottom line is that the number of 996.1 C2 coupes produced (25K+) were over 2x the number of 996.2 C2 coupes (11K+). It would would be reasonable to assume as a byproduct that there would be more aero kit 996.1 as a result.

Welcome! Fantastic aero car. Wheels on it now look perfect on the beautiful green. Looks to have a pretty aggressive suspension set up.

Welcome and congrats. Forest green (as with all others) looks great with aero package. Everything appears OEM, check the trunk lid for a Turnwald stamping. Can't tell from the picture but there should be a small additional lip on the lower spoiler as well.

Congrats beautiful color
most 911/aero didn’t come from the factory that way a lot were dealer added under your hood should be a factory sticker that lists your cars factory options XAA means it’s a factory AERO
love the rims by the way

Thanks everybody!
Super pleased with the car so far, a bit harsh ride compared to my Volvo V60 T8, also a bit of drone cruising due some tweaks on the exhaust, but it will be a "Sunday car" so no problems.
It's what You call a 10-feeter, looks good on a distance but there are scratches and dings, it has 170000Km on the clock, but this is what I want a fun, analog and manual car that I wants to be driven.
Initially the wheels was not a keeper but they are growing on me.

Sounds like me with my car. (The aftermarket exhaust on mine has a bit of a drone in it between 2000 and 3000 RPM.)
