Default Vetting lately at BAT

I've bought a number of vehicles sight unseen, and from both dealers and private parties. Buying a car is like buying a dog; you hope for the best and live with your choice for the most part.
the last few months bat has auctioned off cars with oil coolant intermix, crack heads, borescoring, other engine problems, bad trannys. I don’t think they have been filtering much lately.

We have an attitude that extends to being anti-social. My correction of his post's spelling error shows an arrogance only available in NYC and MA. All in fun.

all but the tranny where previously disclosed. The tranny showed up on the drive video constantly jumping out of 2nd gear bad synchros. It is extremely hard to be Walmart. Everything for everyone, you are either premier and it shows, or you go for the cheap ones $ Dollar general.

Nice flooded tip Aero with hardbacks in MA. I'll be keeping an eye on this, it's a 5/98 but has Litronics and clears. Weird. Wonder what the options sticker says.
They're showing the dipstick which is weird.

Finally, I bought my car from a dealer who has sold over 500 cars on BAT and the comments regarding that dealer are all very positive. Just do you research. I spent months on BAT doing my research. The comments section is extremely helpful. If BAT allowed junk, or disreputable sellers people will simply no longer use it. I just don't get the negative feedback that would prevent me from buying a car there. I agree that if you are buying from a private party, you need to do a PPI. Is it any worse than buying from FB or Craiglist? No. Do the same due diligence on BAT that you would on those two sites. So - you don't know what you are talking about.
well said brother.

That Flood Aero car is damn tempting. Anyway to know if that will be a public auction?
