Sounds like it was a great "investment" of $200k.

This is one of those instances where you wonder why someone would spend that much money customizing a car when they could have bought the actual car they were trying to emulate for significantly less?

It looks like it has some airflow.
I think there are vents above and below the intercooler.
But it would be better to have rubber ductwork to force the air through the intercooler instead of allowing it to flow to the sides.
Unless you're talking about the charged air, which then the intercooler should have the air internally routed through the core.
Prototech has been around a long time.
They have lots of aircooled Porsche experience.

Classic case of 'It's not what you put into it, but what you can get out of it that matters'.

Black on black 1999 C2 with 80K Miles for $16,800.

All the right maintenance done on it recently, rebuilt title due to a past accident.

A bit overpriced. But maybe they’re open to negotiation.
An early 996 with 67K recently sold for ~$12K here in Houston due to salvage title.
it looked nearly brand new.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy a Kia with a branded title provided I saw the damage before repair. However, I'm weird, if I struggle with buying a Porsche or other high end car with a rebuilt history. Maybe I'm the only one who would ever know, but that is the rub - each time I drive it thinking 'it's a rebuilt, it's a rebuilt'. Meh, I'm weird.

I am mistaken. I though the charged airflow was across the core from left to right. I see now that both of the rear plenum ports are air inlet, and the air outlet is down inside the front of the engine to the MAF. I was thinking crossflow and it is longitudinal flow.

I fixed it for you. You're welcome.
