It does suck all that works and master link fell... such a small part requires a strip down, I can see anyone to wave a white flag. I have to agree part out maybe easier to hit the 29k mark. Although the effort to part it out... might not be less than strip down the motor and fix it up again?

Looks like that great CL deal in Seattle got flipped:

It's a bummer too, because I emailed the seller within 12 hours of the listing going up, but it looks like the dealer got to him first.

I contacted the seller as well. I live on the other side of the country and he basically didn't want to answer questions. He was more of a "show up with cash" guy. He told me straight up he priced it low so he wouldn't have to spend time selling it. It wouldn't have been worth his time to deal with shipping it to me or telling me details about the car. Oh well. Still looking.
I totally understand him wanting to sell quickly and simply, but given how well it was priced, it wouldn't have taken much effort to sell it to someone here rather than to a dealer.

I saw this 2002 low miles Tip Cab at a dealer in NY. Nice colors, nice options, low miles from what I can see.
Under $20K looks good too if you want a clean Tip Cab. I remember these guys from when I was looking for my car earlier this year.

Not to mention the Navy blue convertible top. Yikes.

When choosing my 996 last month I just couldn’t get passed the interiors that weren’t black. My gripe is totally about the dashboard, steering sheet emergency brake, and everything else being butterscotch, medium grey, or this navy blue. It just didn’t work for me. This blue in particular reminds me of the interior on my mom’s 1981 Chevy Cutlass Supreme. I can’t get on board.
