Insane right? I don't think I've seen 99's listed on CL that cheaply with headlights that clear before, ha.

If the car wasn't an hour away (despite only living 10 miles away, yay Chicago traffic) then I'd love to check it out and see just how clean it is.

I looked at this car and checked cams with durametric. Engine looks rock solid other than ims status is unknown. Underneath everything is dry. Top of front towers squeak and sporadic microswitch issues for the window down when door opens. I decided not to get it cause I wasn't enamored with tip and the squeaks and I have plenty of cars. But great price!

There a way to tell if it actually sold? To me looks like it didn't meet reserve. Probably why then put it back up on CL. Maybe will find its way to BaT

Auction says it was a 'no reserve" auction and sold for $15,551.

Why did the transaction not complete? Who knows....buyer flaked (common), car misrepresented (not as likely), seller remorse?

I love 99.9% of "arrest me red" cars but I don't think a 996 looks good in red.

Being said this looks decent.
