Default Best aftermarket exhaust system

Things I don't want: vibration, echo resonance inside, rattles.

Things I do want: Snappy note, light weight, snarly at high revs, lower back pressure.

What should I get? Or is the answer to everything - 'Tubi'?

Fabspeed. Had catback on my 986 and it was pure heaven...

I had tubi on my 99 and loved it. I have fister d on my 02 and like it. Did I like the tubi $1400 more than the Fister? No.

I have Fabspeed muffler bypass pipes I think they are "Cup style" as everything they do has to have "indy style flanges" or other fancy racy thing lol. Love the sound of the system, not too loud (first 1k miles where quite hard on the ears), but amazing sound after break-in.

As for the company, they make a pretty good product, a bit pricey IMO, but those are both ok...I do not like how they talk down on the competition and to be frank, they seem to lie about things. Products still good though.

Oh boy, does this have anything to do with tires or oil?

Tubi of course!

Fister Mod will not give you lightweight, although it is the better value out of the two.

I have their complete setup (headers, X-Pipe Cat's, Mufflers). Love it and customer service is top notch.

I had the Fister D mod done to my cans. Simply love the sound. Quiet around town, snarly at WOT. Then, once my cat went bad (again), I opted for the 200 cell high flow cats on the Brombacher X pipe set up. If it was awesome before, now the sound is simply amazing!!!!!!! Wish there were some tunnels in my neck of the woods, as I would love to hear THAT sound.

GL with your decision. I would suggest that you try Fister D, save some $$$$. If after the Fister D, you want even more growl, then see if you can snag an aftermarket system, (Fabspeed, Brombacher, Tubi, Billy Boat, etc.) on RL.

I'll eventually get around to doing this and do a comparison to my Tubi's. PMKazz's method also saves the weight you're looking for too.

Another vote for Fister here. It's really more of a sound modification than anything else, but the sound is fantastic and the price is right. No droning at all...
