When I first got my '99, it ran really hot until I did the fan hack and dumped a gallon of coolant, replaced it with distilled water and added Red Line Water Wetter.
The temp gauge used to get me so stressed out I started calling the car, "Inferno"

Sure I named my car. I call her "Portia".
Not really, but I did suggest that we name our daughter Portia. My wife would have none of it.

I noted to my wife that our Arctic Silver 996 -- rounded curves/silver color -- was pretty much like a beer can. She promptly named the car "Bullet." I refrain from names. It's a machine.
