Years ago when I had my '76 Targa and little money my girlfriend at the time, who was bothered by the time and money I spent on the car called it "that little black piece of ****." Does that count?

I name my cars... this one is Claudia (after Claudia Schiffer)

Before her was an 86 951 which would howl like a banshee, so I called her Souixsie (appropriate for an 80's fan)

The Passat wagon was called Hildegarde.

I even named my bicycle.

LMAO @ Doug !!!

I didn't name mine, but mostly have "nicknames" for cars

like Doug, my suburban is "the pig" - Wife's Chrysler is "the secret weapon" and my car is "the little red car"

in private, when I am alone with her, I do talk nasty with her though - and THAT is like every day I drive her

other car names I have had:
The stinky bomb boom van (with kids help - one of my fav's!)
my little truck
my monster
HaHaHaHonda

I think I towed that Honda more then drove it, which is why if Honda becomes the best car on the planet with 10,000 HP and gets 10,000 miles to the gallon and only cost $10 I will never own another one -

It's a thing in my garage; something I've owned many of.

Don't be that guy:

I have a 1/2 dozen Porsche shirts - and wear them all the time - but they are more than just Porsche shirts - they are Pacific Northwest region PCA shirts/sweatshirts

I dont think it's the same thing as Joey above - is it?
I represent the club and am an active member - and I do get questions from people

mostly like" why the h&ll do you wear those shirts" and "What were you like before you turned into a Porsche weird-o"

Halik is a hater. Don't fall for it.

It may be nerdy geeky obsessive ill give you that. But I relish the role of nerd whenever possible

To say it's just a "thing" in the garage, wow, why even own one? No passion at all.

You guys are idiots!!! Why would you name a car, it's an inanimate object. Will it not answer you if you don't call it by its name? Or, maybe it will feel sad, offended, and neglected and cry(weep from its RM$)...stop being ghey...

Seriously, though, I think my wife may have been talking to Doug's old GF...
